LA Forklift www.laliftservices.com Santa Fe Springs, LA Lift Services provides maintenance, rental, and purchase of forklifts. Preliminary application approved in November 2017.

Hall Ambulance www.hallamb.com  Bakersfield, Hall ambulance started in 1971 when Harvey L. Hall borrowed $10,000 to purchase an ambulance. Currently, Hall Ambulance is the third largest privately owned emergency and non-emergency medical transportation in California. In November 2017 TRG assisted Hall with their Preliminary application.

 Wright Ford Young & Co, www.cpa-wfy.comAn Irvine-based accounting firm with over 70 employees, Wright, Ford, Young & Co received preliminary approval for their second contract with the agency (July 2017). Shortly after, the Panel approved their application; the firm began its training.

Windes  www.windes.comLong Beach, CA  Windes received Panel approval from ETP and will receive funds to subsidize their employee training program.

Employment Training Panel Awards $9.2 Million To Train Nearly 9,400 Workers           

Hansen Engineering, www.hansenengineering.com, a provider of engineering and manufacturing services to the aerospace industry, received approval to receive training funds from the Employment Training Panel.  Training Refund Group assisted with the initial approval.

Diversified Communication Services, www.diversifed.net, received approval for their third contact with the ETP.  The approval amount was $86,000; at the completion of this agreement the 70-employee construction company will have received $220,000 from the agency.  Training Refund Group has been working with the company for four years as they have received these three approvals, and has managed the data flow.

Lucas Horsfall,  www.lhmp.com, a Pasadena-based accounting firm, received approval from the ETP for $49,000.  The funds will be used to train staff in business, accounting and tax law changes, along with best practices in each of these areas.

Employment Training Panel Approves $20.4 Million To Train 20,700 Workers

Brown and Armstrong, www.bacpas.com, is a regional accounting firm based in Bakersfield with specialties in Agriculture, Healthcare and Energy.  They received approval from the Employment Training Panel for $49,588.  Training Refund Group has been involved with this project from the very beginning.

GYL Decauwer, www.gyldecauwer.com, an Ontario-based accounting firm with a specialty in automobile dealerships, received approval for $28,182 for their second contract with the ETP.  Training Refund Group helped secure the approval and will manage the administration of the project.

Frank Rimerman + Co. LLP, www.frankrimerman.com, based in San Jose, is one of the largest California-based accounting firms in the state.  At the August ETP meeting they received funding for $324,000 to train their staff on the latest trends in accounting, business and tax issues.  Training Refund Group worked with the firm throughout the entire project.

Daniels, Philips, Vaughan, and Bock, www.dpvb.com, a regional accounting firm based in Bakersfield, received approval for over $31,000 from the Employment Training Panel.  Training Refund Group assisted with the application approval and will manage the administration portion of the project.

Medcoast Ambulance, www.medcoastambulance.com, received approval from the ETP to receive funding.  Medcoast plans to use the funding to training new Emergency Medical Technicians.

Employment Training Panel Approves Over $17 Million To Train Over 18,000 Workers

Toyota Lift of Los Angeleshttp://www.toyota-lift.com, has been the premier provider of material handling equipment in Southern California for over 30 years.  They have been approved by the Employment Training Panel to receive funding for employee training.

Rudolph & Sletten, www.rsconst.com, a major construction company based in Redwood City with offices throughout the state, was approved to receive up to $197,000 from the Employment Training Panel.  Training Refund Group has been involved since the beginning of the application process, and will also handle the administration portion of the project.

Momentous Insurance Brokerage, http://www.momentousins.com, a premier provider of insurance services to the entertainment, sports and business communities, was approved to receive their second contract with the ETP.

Bernards Construction, www.bernards.com, provides construction management and construction services to a wide range of projects throughout California.  The ETP approved $125,000 in the first round of funding for the company.  Training Refund Group has taken the company from initial application through approval, and will also handle the administration portion of the agreement.

Overaa & Co., www.overaa.com, is a 100-year-old construction company located in Richmond, California. They have been approved to receive funds from ETP to subsidize their employee training program.

Employment Training Panel Approves More Than $4.9 Million To Train Nearly 5,000 Workers

Abbott, Stringham & Lynch, www.aslcpa.com, received approval for $72,000 in training funds from the Employment Training Panel.  The firm provides a wide range of services to their corporate and private clients.  These funds will help the firm enhance their training program.  Training Refund Group assisted with the application and will manage the administration of this project.

Encino Hospital Medical Center and Sherman Oaks Hospital, www.encinomed.org and www.shermanoakshospital.org, received preliminary approval for training funds reimbursement from the Employment Training Panel.  These funds will be used to help train new graduate nurses.

Enterey Life Sciences Consulting, www.enterey.com, was approved by the ETP to receive funds to train their consultants.  Enterey helps clients in the life sciences industry to be more efficient in their manufacturing processes.  Training Refund Group assisted with the approval and is working with the company to receive the final funding.  

Pacific Elite, www.pacificelite.com, is a group of 15 auto body shops providing top-of-the-line products and services to their customers.  They were approved to receive training funds from the Employment Training Panel.

Promise Hospital of East LA, www.promiseeastla.com, is a multi-location hospital serving patients in Los Angeles and Paramount.  Training Refund Group helped them through the preliminary ETP application and will assist on the actual application.  This will be Promise Hospital’s second ETP agreement.

Partners Advantage, www.partnersdavantage, is a provider of back-end support for insurance agencies across the country.  This will be the second ETP agreement for the organization.

Lucas, Horsfall, www.lhmp.com, a premier accounting firm in Pasadena, received approval to receive funds from the Employment Training Panel.  The San Gabriel Valley firm is one of the largest in the area, with a broad range of services for both corporate and individual clients.

Employment Training Panel Approves $10 Million To Train More Than 10,000 Workers

Bernards Construction, www.bernards.com, is a San Fernando-based construction management and construction company with over 200 employees.  Bernards Construction was approved by the Employment Training Panel to receive funding. Training Refund Group helped with the application.

Kiethly Williams Seed Co.,  www.kiethlywilliams.com, provides agricultural seeds, fertilizer, and harvesting equipment for commercial farms in the US and Mexico. They received approval from the Employment Training Panel at the March meeting to receive funds from the agency.

Employment Training Panel Approves More Than $13.7 Million To Train Nearly 14,600 Workers

The Center for Social Dynamics, www.centersocialdynamics.com, an autism treatment organization, received approval from the ETP for $99,600 in training funds.  Training Refund Group assisted with the approval and will work with the company to complete the application and administer the program.

Brown Armstrong, www.bacpas.com, a multi-office regional accounting firm, received preliminary approval from the Employment Training Panel.

Clifton Larsen Allen, www.claconnect.com, one of the largest accounting firms in the country, chose Training Refund Group to take over the administration portion of their ETP approval.  Training Refund Group’s extensive experience with other accounting firms factored heavily into Clifton Larsen Allen’s decision.

Diversified Communication Services, www.diversified.net, a provider of cell phone tower construction and maintenance services, was awarded an additional $34,000 to their existing ETP contract due to the company successfully earning all the money from the initial approval.  This was the second contract for Diversified Communication Services, and the extension brings the total approved to over $130,000.

Macias, Gini, and O’Connell, www.mgocpas.com, is one of the largest accounting firms based in California.  ETP approved the firm to receive over $300,000 in training subsidies for their two year program.  Training Refund Group helped the firm with the approval process and will be responsible for the program’s administration.

Squar Milner LLP, www.squarmilner.com, the largest accounting firm based in Orange County, received approval for $159,000 in funding from the Employment Training Panel.  This funding will help the firm train their team on skills necessary to improve the profitability of their clients.  Training Refund Group helped with the application approval and will administer the paperwork aspects of the project.

Natures Image, www.naturesimage.com, an organization that reclaims land that has been used for a commercial project and returns it to its natural state, received its second contract from ETP. After receiving $49,000 in their first contract and earning all of the money, Natures Image has now been approved for a second contract of an additional $50,000. These funds help the company provide training to their field employees.
