Hathaway Dinwiddie, www.HDCCO.com, received approval today for $172,000 in training funds from the Employment Training Panel.  Hathaway Dinwiddie is a 115 year old construction company providing general contracting, planning, design, and management services in the construction industry.  They have offices in San Francisco, Santa Clara and Los Angeles.  Training Refund Group, assisted with the application and will be responsible for administration of the training program.

Shammus Investment Company DBA Downtown LA Motors, www.dtlamotors.com, was approved today for $72,000 in training funds from the Employment Training Panel.  Downtown LA Motors  is the premier auto dealership in Los Angeles with brands such as Mercedes Benz, Audi, Porsche, and the iconic Felix Chevrolet.  Training Refund Group helped them receive approval and will manage the administrative portion of the project.

Employment Training Panel Approves More Than $7.9 Million To Train Over 7,000 Workers

Pavement Recycling Systems, www.pavementrecycling.com, received approval from the Employment Training Panel today for $124,000 to train 197 workers in Business Skills, Commercial Skills, and Continuous Improvement.  Pavement Recycling Systems offers sustainable rehabilitation and preservation strategies for asphalt pavement.  They are a major contractor for CALTRANS. Training Refund Group  assisted with the application process and will be responsible for managing the administration of the plan.

Singer Lewak, www.singerlewak.com, one of the largest accounting firms in California received $122,000 in training funds from the Employment Training Panel.  These funds will be used to provide training for staff in Accounting and Auditing, Taxation, Estate Planning and many other disciplines that will help them provide the best technical knowledge and client service to their clients.  Training Refund Group worked closely with the firm to get the approval and will manage the back end paperwork for the project.

Lance, Soll, and Lunghard LLP (LSL), www.lslcpa.com, a multi office accounting firm in Brea with a specialty in government audits and automobile dealerships was approved for funding by ETP today in the amount of $62,000. These funds will assist them in keeping their staff current with changing laws and trends in the business market.
